Meet Dr. Roy Steinbock, MD

Dr. Roy is a board certified Pediatrician and has been practicing Pediatrics since 1999. His degrees include a BA with honors from UC Berkeley and a doctorate in medicine with honors from the University of Tel Aviv, Sackler School of Medicine. His Pediatric Residency was at the Schneider’s Children Hospital in New York.
 
Since his residency Dr. Roy has worked as a Pediatric inpatient doctor in a newborn nursery and neonatal intensive care unit, and in several Pediatric emergency rooms. Most recently, he has worked in primary care at Partners in Pediatrics, a holistic general Pediatric group in Denver.

"The Snuggle Me Cushion is a great product for infants for several reasons. First, the Snuggle Me provides physical support that seems to tame the startle reflex in infants. This allows the infant to sleep in more solid spurts.
 
Secondly, babies spend 9 months tightly held inside their mother, so having a place for them to lay that simulates this “comforting” environment seems to reduce the stress on an infant.
 
Third, I have found that the Snuggle Me is a good product for parents who co-sleep with their infants. The cushion puts a firm barrier between the parent and infant, hopefully reducing the risk that the adult will roll onto the infant."
