About Simply MommySimply Mommy was founded in 2007 by Laurie Carr and Mia Carr. The company was started after Mia had twins and felt guilty about not being able to hold them both at the same time. The idea of a cushion that snuggled a baby came to mind. After months of design and redesign, the perfect cushion was born and was named the Snuggle Me Cushion.We have spent months doing research on the different aspects of our cushion and the reaction that mothers and babies have to it. We are excited to say that the overall response has been amazing. Mothers love our product! It gives them a comfortable nest in which to place their babies. Babies love our product! It helps them feel secure, content and relaxed. As one customer said, “They feel like they’re being touched.” A relaxed and content baby allows for a more content family, overall. |

We believe babies should be comforted in both loving arms and in the products that caregivers use for them. We believe that where babies find comfort, they find contentment. For these reasons, we at Simply Mommy are creating products that are practical, comforting, and above all simple. Hello! My name is Mia Carr, co-owner of Simply Mommy! I am also the proud mommy of 4 beautiful children! Austin, age 5, Matt and Ryan, age 3, and baby Gracie, born March '09. Raising children while also running a business can be very interesting! But I really wouldn't have it any other way. We have met such wonderful women along our journey with Simply Mommy and I'm looking forward to meeting many more as time goes by. Hello, welcome to the Simply Mommy website. First let me introduce myself. I am Laurie, co-owner and senior (as in age, only) partner in Simply Mommy. This is a photo of your's truly and my twin grandsons. I also happen to have five other grandchildren each one cuter than the next. Being a grandmother is great fun. Be sure to check back here often. I want to show off my other grandchildren, too. And of course it would be awful of me not to also mention my wonderful children, Jenny, Sara and Andy. They represent my personal experience in motherhood and my greatest joy. I am truly blessed. Mia, my partner in Simply Mommy, is the mother of the little boys I'm holding in the photo. Together we have had great fun in setting up our company. |
